On the other hand, there's times when that herding instinct can be a bit
of a worry...

A lovely day at the beach and
Jewel decided to go "goose herding"...she was about 200 feet out before we
finally
got her to turn around and come back. At first we thought "how cute" until
she kept going, but training the "come to me" really paid off!
